The ISM4343-WBM-L54 from Inventek is an Embedded Serial-to-Wi-Fi (eS-Wi-Fi) and Bluetooth Combo Module that operates at 2.4 GHz. The module consists of the ST Micro STM32F412 Cortex host processor MCU, the Cypress CYW4343 Single-Band (2.4 GHz) 802.11 /b/g/n MAC/Baseband/Radio with Integrated Bluetooth 4.2. This combo module requires no operating system and has an integrated TCP/IP stack that only requires a simple AT command or the Cypress WICED SDK set to establish connectivity with a wireless product.
The ISM4343-WBM-L54 is compatible with the BT Low Energy operating mode, which provides a dramatic reduction in the power consumption of the BT radio and baseband. The primary application for this mode is to provide support for low data rate devices, such as sensors and remote controls. It is available in a 14.5 mm x 34 mm package with either a chip antenna or U.FL connector for a 2,4 GHz external antenna. This combo module is an ideal solution for a range of embedded applications.
