The LBAA0QB1SJ-295 from muRata is a LoRa Module that is designed for the LoRaWAN network. This LPW module is based on the second-generation Semtech SX1262 RFIC. The module consists of an open STM32L0 microcontroller (MCU) with an RF switch and has 192kB of flash memory and 20kB of RAM. It consists of a temperature-controlled crystal oscillator (TXCO) and is suitable for a wide range of high-volume applications where small size, long-range, extended battery life, security, and a competitive price point are the main requirements.
The module has a Tx power of up to 22 dBm and a receiver sensitivity of -137 dBm. It requires a DC supply of 3.3 V and consumes 118 mA (Tx mode), and 15.5 mA (Rx mode) of current. The module supports FSK, OOK, and LoRa modulation techniques, and can be controlled via I2C/ UART/ USB/ SPI interfaces. It is available in a resin mold LGA package that measures 10 x 8 x 1.60 mm and is ideal for asset tracking, utilities, agriculture, smart cities, smart buildings, industrial, and IoT applications.
