The Type 1JQ Wi-Fi module from Murata is a small, low power, self contained module for consumer applications. It is powered by the TI SimpleLink Architecture (TI CC3200 module). The module has a SPI and UART interface, 16 Mbit of Flash memory and a 40 MHz clock. It is constructed on a PCB with all matching components, a PCB antenna, wireless transceiver and associated logic enclosed in a metal case. The module has numerous GPIO pins for attaching sensors and other devices. It requires a 3.3 V supply and measures 13.2 x 21.45 x 2.45 mm.
