The A1101R08A from Anaren Integrated Radio (AIR) is a high-performance ETSI-Compliant RF Module that operates from 868 and 870 MHz. The module provides a programmable output power of up to 10 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -112 dBm. It supports an SPI Interface for serial communication and has a maximum data rate of up to 600 kbps along with a baud rate of 1.2 kBaud. The module is suitable for frequency hopping systems, thanks to a fast-settling frequency synthesizer with 90 μs settling time. It is based on Texas Instrument’s CC1101 Transceiver chipset and requires a 3.6V DC supply and has a current consumption of 15 mA while receiving and 200 nA in sleep mode.
The module measures 9 x 16 x 2.5 mm in size. It is packaged on tape & steel and matrix tray for high-volume automated manufacturing and weighs approximately 0.4 grams. With an LGA pad footprint, this module is designed to effortlessly integrate into a wide range of applications such as industrial control, building automation, low-power wireless sensor networks, lighting control and automated meter reading.
