The FieldFox N9915C from Keysight Technologies is a lightweight, durable software-defined cable and antenna analyzer, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator and more. The required configuration can be configured using software. This combination analyzer has a frequency range from 3 kHz to 10 GHz.
This handheld analyzer can capture signals with up to 120 MHz gap-free, real-time bandwidth. It can measure all four S-parameters simultaneously with 115 dB dynamic range, make accurate spectrum analyzer measurements (± 0.3 dB) without warmup, perform over-the-air measurements for 5G NR and LTE and use GPS/GNSS for geolocation and timestamping.
The N9915C has large buttons for easy operation, even when wearing gloves and utilizes a non-slip rubber grip. It has a low-reflection display and backlit keys which enable easy viewing in direct sunlight or darkness. This microwave analyzer supports vertical “portrait” orientation and has an intuitively designed user interface, enabling measurements in fewer key presses. It meets the MIL-PRF-28800F Class 2 requirements and is designed to protect the instrument from damage due to drops, shock, or other external impacts.
This analyzer has a water-resistant chassis, keypad and case to withstand wide temperature ranges and salty, humid environments. It is available in a portable enclosure that includes a field-swappable battery that lasts up to 4 hours. It weighs 3.4 kg (7.4 lb).
