The MS27200A from Anritsu is a Microwave Spectrum Monitor Module that operates from 9 kHz to 9/14/20/26.5/32/43.5/54 GHz. It uses the latest technologies to deliver accuracy and precision in measurements previously reserved only for benchtop instruments. This module consists of a real-time spectrum analyzer (RTSA) that has a measurement bandwidth of 110 MHz for capturing transient and continuous signals over a large bandwidth.
This spectrum monitor module provides options for 5G and LTE demodulation that enable detailed analysis of parameters such as base station PCI, bandwidth, and frequency to facilitate the identification of rogue or illicit transmitters. It can help maximize the data rate and capacity of Option 883 LTE base stations with accurate power settings, ensuring low out-of-channel emissions and good signal quality over a wide bandwidth. This module can be controlled using a customer-written PC application or MX280001A Vision Monitor PC software via an SCPI interface to configure measurements, capture traces and I/Q data, and save the results. It also supports the use of MX280005A Vector Signal Analysis software for gaining insights into the nature of the captured signals and allows PCIe streaming and playback of the data.
This spectrum monitor module has a displayed average noise level (DANL) of -164 dBm and a phase noise of -106 dBc/Hz (at 100 kHz offset). It has an analysis bandwidth of 22 MHz (standard) with a resolution bandwidth from 1 Hz to 10 MHz. This module is ideal for interference hunting, manufacturing environment, technical surveillance counter measure, and signal intelligence applications.
