The SH-75S-AOA from Bird is a Handheld Spectrum Analyzer with a frequency range from 9 kHz to 7.5 GHz. It enables field engineers, technicians, wireless equipment manufacturers, service providers, contractors, and military personnel to triangulate the source of an interferer by utilizing AOA (Angle of Arrival) technology. This spectrum analyzer integrates digital maps, GPS location and signal strength vectoring, enabling an easy-to-use interface to pinpoint potential in-band interferers, rogue broadcast locations, and dead spots. It utilizes advanced analysis technology that allows users to detect electromagnetic interference, radio frequency interference, and adjacent channel interference quickly and accurately. This spectrum analyzer integrates two pre-amplifier stages for signal conditioning and high-accuracy analysis.
The SH-75S-AOA is compatible with the Bird RF Meter app for interoperability with a wide range of Bird field sensors and uses the OpenStreetMap platform to triangulate the source. It includes a high-resolution, 5.5” full-color display and utilizes multi-touch technology with intuitive menus for easy system handling and displays signals with trace display, spectrogram display, or both. This spectrum analyzer has a DANL of -129 dBm/Hz and a phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz (at 10 kHz offset). It has a resolution bandwidth from 10 Hz to 5 MHz with a sweep time of up to 1600 s (full-span).
The SH-75S-AOA has a Li-ion battery that delivers 5 hours of continuous battery operation and has a charging time of 6 hours. It is available in a portable housing that measures 7.8 x 3.7 x 2.4 inches with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for RF interference monitoring applications.
