The SP145 from Signal Hound is a Real-time Spectrum Analyzer with a frequency range from 100 kHz to 14.5 GHz. It has a sweep speed of 200 GHz/s, a streaming bandwidth of 40 MHz, and a display noise average (DANL) of -160 dBm. This RTSA has an SSB phase noise of -134 dBc/Hz (@1 MHz offset), a system noise figure of less than 12 dB, and an LO leakage of -80 dBm (100 kHz to 5 GHz). It is designed for accurate remote spectrum monitoring and analysis and includes an internal GPS for enhanced field measurements. The analyzer requires a DC supply of 5 V (USB-C powered) and consumes less than 10 W of power.
The SP145 connects to a PC for analysis via USB-C and comes with a Spike spectrum analysis application. It is available in a portable and durable housing that measures 189 x 115 x 46 mm and is ideal for use in general-purpose RF test and measurement, phase noise characterization, EVM measurement, airborne RF measurement systems, spectrum monitoring, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth characterization, calibration, manufacturing test, demodulation, satellite peaking, and RF surveying applications.
