ADRV9009 Image

The ADRV9009 is a highly integrated RF transceiver that supports all existing cellular standards and is tunable over a range of 75 MHz to 6 GHz. The 200 MHz bandwidth IC has integrated dual transmitters and receivers, integrated synthesizers, and digital signal processing functions. The device can be powered directly from 1.3 V and 1.8 V regulators and is controlled via a standard 4 wire serial port. The high-speed JESD204B interface supports up to 12.288 Gbps lane rates. This transceiver is a single-chip TDD solution that can be used in the design of portable, laboratory grade 5G test and measurement devices which are required for field testing of cellular and Internet of Things networks. The transceiver has fast frequency hopping for enhanced link security and spectrum efficiency. The ADRV9009 is available in a 12 x 12 mm, 196-ball chip scale ball grid array package and is ideal for 3G/4G/5G TDD macro cell base stations, TDD active antenna systems, Massive MIMO and Electronic Warfare applications.

The fully integrated phase-locked loop (PLL) provides high performance, low power fractional-N RF frequency synthesis for the transmitter and receiver signal paths. An additional synthesizer generates the clocks needed for the converters, digital circuits, and serial interface.
