The PTRAN-100M18G-SDLVA-SFB-3UVPX-10HP-MAH-MX from PMI RF is a Transceiver that operates from 100 MHz to 18 GHz. On the Tx side, it up-converts a signal from 0.1-4 GHz to 2-18 GHz and on the Rx side, it down-converts an RF signal from 0.1-18 GHz to an IF signal from 0.1-4 GHz for analog to digital conversion.
The transceiver has a receive filter bank that incorporates a 2-way absorptive switch to select an input, along with two 6-way switches allowing one of the six filter paths to be chosen. A filter bank is also used in the transmit path, with two 6-way switches allowing one of the six filter paths to be chosen. The transceiver fits into a 3U Open VPX 10 HP (2”) form factor utilizing the high-speed VITA 67 RF Connector. It has been designed to attach to an FPGA controller card allowing customers to build a complete solution.
