The AU30Q from Quectel Wireless Solutions is an Automotive Grade UWB Module that supports UWB channels 5 (6.5 GHz) and 9 (8 GHz). It conforms to the Car Connectivity Consortium specification, is fully aligned with the FiRa PHY, MAC and certification development and is also compliant with IEEE 802.15.4-2015 and IEEE 802.15.4z BPRF standards. This module has an internal antenna and includes a reliable SPI interface to provide UWB location capability, thereby achieving low-power, high-precision, and data transmission. It can also be integrated into SS-TWR, DS-TWR, TDoA, and PDoA systems to locate assets with a positioning accuracy of 10 cm.
The AU30Q has a compact and unified form factor, making it an ideal UWB solution for size sensitive applications, helping customers reduce product size and optimize application design cost. It delivers a data rate of 850 kbps (BRRF) and 6.8 Mbps (BPRF). This module is available in a Land Grid Array (LGA) package that measures 12.0 x 25.0 x 2.45 mm and is ideal for digital car key applications.
