The CHC3014-99F from United Monolithic Semiconductors is an X-Band Transceiver Chip that operates from 8 to 12 GHz. It consists of integrated amplifiers, a 6-bit phase shifter (0-360° range with 5.625° step size), a 6-bit attenuator (34.65 dB attenuation with 0.55 dB step size), a second 2-bit attenuator for tuning (6 dB attenuation with 2 dB step size), self-biased buffers, switch and TTL compatible parallel interfaces.
At the Rx end, it delivers a linear gain of more than 11.5 dB with a noise figure of 5.8 dB. In Tx mode, it delivers a saturated output power of 20 dBm with a typical gain of 25 dB. It is manufactured using 0.25μm pHEMT process, including via holes through the substrate. This MMIC measures 4.47 x 5.07 x 0.10 mm.
