The Hawkeye 4 Lite from L3Harris Technologies is a Flyaway VSAT with a Tx frequency range from 7.9 to 31 GHz and an Rx frequency range from 7.25 to 21.2 GHz in the X, Ku, and Ka bands. It has a 1.3 m parabolic aperture carbon fiber antenna that is circular/linearly polarized and delivers an EIRP of up to 59.9 dBW. This VSAT features Viewsat-E-GUI and GATEKEEPER interference excision technology and supports in-field modem changes/integration for anti-jam protection, high-speed data, and voice for Internet, VPN, and video transmission. It has a controller with an included internal high stability OCXO, beacon receiver, and optional gatekeeper & Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n) modem that delivers a throughput of 20 Mbps. This VSAT also has a GPS receiver/antenna and can be controlled via RJ-45 LAN, L-band, and colour LCD & keypad user interfaces.
The Hawkeye 4 Lite requires an AC supply of 90-264 V or a DC supply of 18-36 V and supports operation via rechargeable batteries and UPS.
