The TR600 from ReliaSat is a Transceiver Downlink Module. In the Tx chain, it upconverts an IF frequency from 1.5 - 6 GHz to 37.5 to 42 GHz with an output power of 25 dBm and a conversion gain of 30 dB. In the Rx chain, it down-converts a frequency from 47.2 - 51.4 GHz to 1.2 - 5.4 GHz with a noise figure of less than 4 dB and an image rejection of 60 dB.
This module includes an on-board frequency synthesizer with low power consumption in a stackable enclosure. It also includes a high-precision clock for LO generation that can be used as a reference for other modules or locked to an external system reference. This transceiver module requires a DC supply from 9 to 36 V and consumes less than 9 W of power.
The TR600 is a fully integrated standalone transceiver module and can be used as a standalone up/down converter for use in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or combined with a modem/software-defined radio (SDR) enabling a full-function Q/V-band satellite communication system. It is available in an enclosure that measures 96 x 91 x 38 mm and is ideal for use in high-speed data communications, space communications, IoT, earth observation, security, and 5G applications.
