The ASLE-L-100D from Polaris is a Satellite Link Emulator that operates from 950 to 1450 MHz. This emulator provides accurate reproductions for propagation time delay, path loss, and doppler frequency shift for closed-loop testing of geostationary satellites and earth station terminals. It has an operating bandwidth of more than 100 MHz and has a frequency step size of 0.1 MHz. The emulator extends the propagation time delay of up to 530 ms (1 µs steps) and supports Doppler shift of up to -6 MHz to 6 MHz (1 Hz steps). The emulator exhibits spurious emissions of -50 dBc. It has keypads on the front panel for local control and USB, RS-232, or RS-422/485 interfaces for remote control.
The ASLE-L-100D is available in an enclosure that measures 19.00 x 5.25 x 21.00 inches and is ideal for use in satellite modem tests, VSAT tests, satellite payload tests, UAV tests, earth terminal tests, satellite system integration test beds, and mobile transceiver testing applications. It requires an AC supply from 90 to 240 V.
