The SGD is part of the Aeroflex S Series of signal generators. This digital signal generator is available in two frequency configurations SGD-3 (100 kHz to 3 GHz) and the SGD-6 (100 kHz to 6 GHz). This series of signal generators has a low phase noise, supports wideband analog modulation and an has an arbitrary waveform generator making it the ideal for testing multi-channel power amplifiers and support for all forthcoming wideband wireless systems. It meets the needs for a general-purpose signal generator while offering the high performance required of demanding, critical receiver measurements or rapid manufacturing. The SGD signal generators have a large touch screen interface which simplifies ease of use.
