The ELE-SRC Series from NSI-MI Technologies are Microwave Signal Sources that operate from 0.01 to 20 GHz. They deliver a signal with an adjustable output power from -20 dBm to +15 dBm and a phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz at 1kHz offset (@10 GHz). The signal sources have a frequency resolution of 0.001 Hz and a frequency switching time of less than 400 μs. They have a built-in pulse modulator with a TTL input and pulse modulation rate (PRF) of 1 Hz to 10 MHz.
The Windows compatible Virtual Control Panel Software application gives users full front-panel control of the signal sources. The integrated Ethernet/SCPI remote programming interface can control every available source function and can manage a list of up to 65,000 frequencies. In remote mode, the sources can synchronously step through a frequency list commanded by software or by triggers received at the rear panel Trigger Bus connector. The robust remote interface makes the ELE-SRC useful for a variety of applications that go beyond NSI-MI antenna measurement systems. Designed to be compatible with a wide variety of other instruments, including the NSI-MI Vector Field Analyzer™, these generators can be applied to almost any microwave measurement application.
The ELE-SRC Series signal sources are available in 2U rack-mountable enclosures that measure 635.0 x 482.6 x 88.9 mm with Ethernet, USB and Trigger Bus hardware interfaces. They are suitable for wireless, satellite, radar, automated testing and other microwave applications.
The sources require an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 100 W of power.
