The R&S®PVT360A from Rohde & Schwarz is a Single Box Performance Vector Tester that covers the frequency range from 400 MHz to 8 GHz. This tester utilizes two independent signal generators and analyzers with an integrated switch matrix for parallelized and sequential testing for multiple DUTs and multiport devices. Each of the optionally two generators can broadcast signals on up to 8 RF output ports and the signals analysis path can be assigned to one of the 8 RF input ports. It implements hardware-accelerated test sequencing to enable extremely fast measurements. The test box has a maximum signal bandwidth of 500 MHz and supports standard-compliant 5G NR signal generation and analysis in all FR1 frequency bands.
The R&S®PVT360A provides measurement capabilities to test the physical layer of base stations and small cells. It allows multi-component carriers to be tested and the optional two pairs of vector signal generators and analyzers enable real MIMO measurements.
This tester is designed for remote operation and offers automation capabilities for easy integration into testbeds. It includes an intuitive web user interface that provides an overview of all signal generation and measurement parameters and capabilities for manual configuration. The tester comes with preconfigured test routines in line with 3GPP requirements to simplify the test process.
The R&S®PVT360A is available in a 19"/2HU enclosure and is optimized for FR1 base station, small cell, and RF component testing in production and characterization environments.
