µSDR-C Image

The μSDR-C from Space Micro is a Software Defined Radio for space applications that operates from 70 MHz to 3 GHz. It has a tunable channel bandwidth from 200 kHz to 56 MHz and provides a data rate up to 42 Mbps. This radio supports BPSK, OQPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, FSK modulation schemes and includes 12-bits ADC/DAC with a sample rate of 30.72 Msps. In Rx mode, the radio has a noise figure of less than 3.8 dB and a sensitivity of -109 dBm. This SDR requires a DC voltage of 5 V and consumes 10 W of power. It is radiation hardened and is ideal for use in LEO and GEO satellite applications.

The μSDR-C is available in an enclosure that measures 10 x 10 x 8 cm with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +60°C. It is available with optional Up/Down Converter Board with Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), Power Amplifier (PA).
