The RTH7050PA from Rakon is a Hybrid Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) that operates from 10 to 50 MHz. It provides a regulated/standard CMOS output with an SSB phase noise of -144 dBc/Hz (at 100 Hz offset) and a frequency stability (versus temperature) of ±20 ppb. This TCXO uses Rakon’s proprietary Mercury+ ASIC technology with a built-in heating control system, enabling it to achieve high-frequency stability over an operating temperature range from -40°C to +95°C. It also incorporates a high-Q Quartz crystal at its core, thereby resulting in superior close-in phase noise performance. This TCXO requires a DC supply from 2.7 to 5 V.

The RTH7050PA is available in a surface-mount package that measures 7.5 x 5.5 x 3.3 mm and is ideal for 5G RRH/RRU, microwave transmission systems, G.8273.x boundary clocks, optical network equipment, and 4G/5G small cell applications.
