The S8711A UXM 5G Test Application from Keysight is a software interface for the UXM One Box Tester to analyze 5G NR chipsets and devices. It is an interactive real-time testing tool that covers the full chipset and device development workflow from early prototype testing through integration and verification. This software allows users to fully control the network environment and validate customized testing campaigns through RF performance and functional KPI. It can verify device performance in 5G-NR FR1 and FR2 (including 5G NR-U) bands and characterize the latest enhancements including RedCap and NTN. This solution provides a wide range of network emulation for 5G-NR NSA/SA, TDD, FDD, LTE, C-V2X, V2X sidelink, GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, W-CDMA connections, eCall, and C-IoT.

The S8711A UXM 5G test application software interface can test chipset and device RF performance under many conditions including MIMO, CA, link adaptation, flexible scheduling, flexible band combinations, maximum IP throughput, AWGN, and fading. It can analyze the functional behavior of chipsets and devices using E2E data throughput, voice, and video with integrated IMS, power consumption, mobility, negative testing, and IP impairments. This scalable solution spans the development and acceptance stages of the 5G device workflow. It includes a comprehensive suite of tools for network emulation, radio frequency (RF) parametric testing, functional testing, and application-level testing. The easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) of this software handles operations related to emulation and testing across all scenarios, accelerating time to market.
