The R&S CMP180 from Rohde & Schwarz is a Radio Communication Test Platform that covers wireless standards including Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, and 5G NR at FR1 frequencies, along with a wide range of legacy technologies. It is designed to manage multiple parallel signals for multiple devices and MIMO transmission methods that provide maximum measurement speed at frequencies up to 8 GHz. This single-box tester features parallel testing on up to 16 devices and delivers excellent RF parameters with high output power.

This Test Platform includes both a vector signal generator and a vector spectrum analyzer, which generates the test signal sequence as defined in the routine, feeds it to the DUT, and analyzes the results. It supports on-site calibration with an integrated self-alignment function. The tester features future-proof hardware with excellent RF performance.

This R&S CMP180 includes the R&S CMsquares, an intuitive and flexible web-based user interface. It is a one-platform solution for all 5G NR test equipment that enables a unified test environment for signaling and non-signaling testing through all 5G device production stages. The manual interactive operation, as well as automatically sequence-controlled test protocols, makes the R&S CMsquares an advantageous software solution, with unique modules for all signaling use cases ranging from R&D design stages up to end-to-end application testing, production, and conformance tests.
