The AST-1000 from Averna is an RF Test Set designed for Radio, Navigation, Video, and Connectivity testing in the automotive sector. This system can operate simultaneously on 2 channels @ 200 MHz of streaming bandwidth from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It can generate all common radio signals (including AM/FM, DAB, DRM, HD Radio, and Sirius/XM), digital video signals (including ATSC, CMMB, DVB-T2, and ISDB). This multi-constellation, multi-frequency record system can simulate all common GNSS signals (including BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS, HIL Simulation, and QZSS).
The solution is preloaded with RF Studio and DriveView Player software and is also powered by the NI VST and LabVIEW. With the AST-1000’s NI framework, customers can easily add a PXI-based waveform generator to generate any number of wireless waveforms using NI LabVIEW toolkits such as WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, and WCDMA for module-level validation. The record system is an extensible, rack-mountable platform that can handle all infotainment RF and non-RF (e.g., CAN) test needs while also easily accommodating changing standards, new protocols, and additional applications for wide-ranging product test and validation needs.
