The CX700 ComXpert from VIAVI Solutions is an Automated Radio Communications Test System that operates from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. It is the latest generation of innovative tactical radio test instruments from VIAVI that is designed for commercial, tactical, military, and infrastructure applications in production, depot-level, and field environments. This test solution builds upon the legacy of TS-4317 and 7200B models by providing a versatile, SCA-compliant test system that combines excellent functional specifications, a revolutionary GUI, and advanced automation capability into a powerful modular platform. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 300 V.
The CX700 consists of a 2-channel 125 MHz oscilloscope, 6.5-digital multimeter (DMM), real-time record and playback, SINAD meter, audio analyzer, frequency counter, and frequency hop burst power meter amplifiers. It has an instantaneous bandwidth of 100 MHz with easy-to-read meters indicating intelligent pass/fail color coded meters for at-a-glance test verification, and advanced auto-test framework. This test system supports standard AM, FM, PM, and SSB modulation and demodulation modes with a modulation accuracy of up to ±1%. It is equipped with a rich set of interfaces such as Ethernet, RX/TX, USB, RS-232, RS-422, GPIO and 5 V and 3.3 V TTL in/out for monitoring and control.
The CX700 has a collapsible high-resolution touch-screen display and keyboard/keypad interface for easy control and also supports multiple tab user interfaces, similar to an internet browser. It is available in an MIL-PRF-2880F Class 3 enclosure that measures 24.4 x 46.2 x 49.0 cm. This test system is compliant with UL 610B-1, EN61010-1, and CSA C22.2 EMC safety standards.
