The WNC C-V2X from Wistron is a Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) module, designed to serve automotive applications such as on-board units (OBU) and telematic control units (TCU). The C-V2X module operates in the 5.9 GHz band and supports low latency direct communications (PC5) and SIM-less operation. It provides security and privacy on V2V/V2I/V2P as per the IEEE WAVE and ETSI ITS standards.
The WNC C-V2X is available in a compact 299 LGA package that measures 40 mm × 30 mm × 3.45 mm with three RF pads for TX1/PRX1, DRX and GNSS. The mPCIe Card is equipped with standard mPCIe compliant pin-outs perfect for RSU products and provides a significant upgrade from previous designs.
