The v45C from Intellian is a 45cm Maritime VSAT Terminal that operates in the Ku-Band from 13.75 to 14.5 GHz (Tx Band) and 10.7 to 12.75 GHz (Rx Band). This linear, cross-polarized terminal provides a gain of 34.8 dBi in Tx mode and 33.2 dBi in Rx mode. It is designed to deliver enhanced connectivity and user experience to smaller boats and vessels, including fishing, leisure, commercial, and government. The antenna offers exceptional value and performance no matter the communication needs or space constraints onboard. It has an azimuth range of 680°, an elevation range from -5° to +115°, and a cross-level range of ±20°.
This VSAT terminal uses the AptusNX antenna management platform which is a responsive web user interface to manage and control the antenna system. AptusNX includes an intelligent installation wizard to simplify system configuration so that users can become connected faster than ever before. The platform also includes a diagnosis function that enables accurate and enhanced antenna performance checks both on-board and remotely. This reduces the need for on-board maintenance and improves performance.
The v45C is designed to be easy to install and includes a single cable design, combining Tx, Rx, and DC power into one single solution. The single coaxial cable is connected externally to the base of the radome with no requirement to access the inside of the radome, reducing complexity for the customer during installation and maintenance. It requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V.
