The ESP8266EX is a low-power, highly-integrated certified 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n) Wi-Fi SoC solution for IoT Applications. This compact SoC consists of a 32-bit Tensilica processor, standard digital peripheral interfaces, antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifier, low noise receive amplifier, filters and power management modules. The ESP8266EX can perform either as a standalone module or as the slave to a host MCU. It tranmits a power of up to 20 dBm while operating over a 2.5V - 3.6V supply. The module has a receive sensitivity of -91 dBm. It is available in a 5 x 5 mm 32-pin QFN package and is ideal for mobile devices, wearable electronics and IoT applications.
