The IS1678 is a fully-certified Bluetooth Classic (BR/EDR) and Low Energy (LE) IC for the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. This Bluetooth SIG certified 2.4 GHz module has an onboard Bluetooth stack, integrated antenna, and worldwide radio certifications. It supports GAP, SDP, SPP, and GATT profiles. The module has a receive sensitivity of -90 dBm (BR/EDR), -92 dBm (LE) and provides an output power of 2 dBm. It is available in a compact surface mount package that measures 6 x 6 x 0.9 mm and is ideal for secure payment, IoT, home and security applications.
The IS1678 SoC is available in ROM-based (IS1678S) and Flash-based (IS1678SM) variants.
