Anritsu, a global provider of test and measurement solutions for wireless, optical, microwave/RF, and digital domains has recently announced that the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA) has established the "Anritsu 5G-Advanced & 6G Test Lab" at its Song-do IoT Technical Support Center in Incheon, Korea. This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between RAPA and Anritsu, which defines their mutual cooperation on the 5G-Advanced/6G.
The Test Lab is equipped with Anritsu's latest 5G/6G verification testers (MT8000A with frequency extension for 6G), Wi-Fi 7 testers (MT8862A) and Vector network analyzers. The Test Lab is expected to significantly contribute to the development of 6G technology while revitalizing the industry by validating the technology of the candidate frequency bands for 5G-Advanced and 6G, that is, FR3 (7 GHz to 24 GHz).
JUNGSU SONG, Vice-chairman of RAPA, stated, “The Anritsu 5G-Advanced & 6G Test Lab will provide a comprehensive verification environment and verification services for 5G-Advanced and 6G next-generation communication technologies, and will help 5G/6G-related companies to speed their market entry.”
