Cinch Connectivity Solutions has introduced new vertical launch compression mount PCB Connectors. The Johnson 1.85mm and 2.4mm vertical launch compression mount PCB connectors provide exceptional performance up to the higher mmWave frequencies of 50 GHz (2.4mm) and 67 GHz (1.85mm). Johnson Coax Connectors are designed for use in a variety of applications and markets, with high frequency performance from DC to 65 GHz, while delivering superior signal integrity in the most demanding environments.
The Johnson 1.85mm and 2.4mm Vertical Launch Connectors are screw-mounted and solderless, allowing for both quick and easy mounting and removal on PC boards. There are two new versions at each frequency supporting both microstrip and strip-line designs. The microstrip parts feature a side groove design that enables either microstrip or grounded coplanar waveguide (GCPW) configurations. These high-quality stainless-steel parts also offer excellent technical performance with a 1.35 Max VSWR and 0.25 dB Max Insertion Loss out to 67 GHz. Typical applications include test and measurement, semiconductor board characterization fixtures, and semiconductor ATE test boards.
