Top 10 GNSS Products in 2020

2020 witnessed the introduction of many Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) solutions. These products further improved the accuracy and efficiency of navigation, asset tracking and much more. Enhancement in performance lead to increased areas of application. The drone-show in Saint Petersburg, Russia was one such show of technology which witnessed the world’s largest swarm of drones. It combined the accuracy, reliability, and performance from both the GLONASS and GPS satellite navigation constellations. ZED-F9P: High Precision GNSS Module for UAV Applications

The ZED-F9P from u-blox is a multi-band GNSS module with integrated multi-band Real Time Kinematics (RTK) technology for machine control, ground robotic vehicles, and high precision unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) applications. The LC79D from Quectel is a Multi-Constellation GNSS Module that simultaneously supports L1 and L5 bands for GPS, Galileo and QZSS satellites. It uses the L1 band for GLONASS and BeiDou satellites and the L5 band for IRNSS. Based on Broadcom's BCM47755, this AIS-140 compliant module has an integrated LNA and SAW filters.
