New Japan Radio Introduces High-Performance SPDT Switch for Wi-Fi 6/6E Applications

NJR (New Japan Radio) has developed a general-purpose SPDT switch for WiFi 6/6E (to 7.125GHz) with a low operating voltage of 1.8 V. The NJG1818K75 is a general-purpose RF switch for WiFi 6/6E, that operates from 1 to 7.125 GHz. It provides a low insertion loss, has high linearity and a fast switching speed. It can be used in Wi-Fi communication terminals, especially mobile terminals requiring low power consumption. Moreover, it supports a wide operating voltage range from 1.6V to 5.0 V and can support a variety of power supply modes. The wide operating voltage range supports a direct power supply to the switch from external power sources such as batteries. This can solve the problem of chipset supply power line shortage due to increased functions of communication terminals.

The NJG1818K75 can handle up to +31 dBm of input power. It provides 0.55 dB of insertion loss in the extended Wi-Fi 6E band from 5.925 to 7.125 GHz. It has a built-in DC blocking capacitor for the RF port and is available in a small package that measures 1.0 mm x 1.0 mm. These features contribute to the reduction of the mounting area.

This is the ideal RF switch for WiFi 6 / 6E MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) Applications. Click here to learn more about the NJR's NJG1818K75 SPDT switch.
