Skyworks has introduced two new Wi-Fi switches that are ideal for WLAN networks, repeaters, ISM band radios, Bluetooth and Zigbee systems, smartphones, and connectivity modules.
The SKY13585-679LF is a SPDT switch intended for applications from 1 to 6 GHz. It has a low insertion loss of 0.5 dB and a high isolation of 38 dB. This switch can handle a power of 31 dBm and requires a supply voltage of 3 to 5 Volts. It has integrated DC blocking capacitors, so no external DC blocking capacitors are required. This switch is available in a 6-pin MLPD package that measures 1 x 1 x 0.32 mm and is ideal for WLAN repeaters, ISM band radios and connectivity modules. For more details click here.
The SKY13586-678LF is a SP3T antenna switch for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi applications. It has an insertion loss of 0.75 dB and a high isolation of 35 dB. This switch can handle a power of 29 dBm and requires a supply voltage of 3 to 5 Volts. It has integrated DC blocking capacitors, so no external DC blocking capacitors are required. This switch is available in a 8-pin MLP package that measures 1.1 x 1.1 x 0.33 mm and is ideal for applications in bluetooth systems, smartphones and connectivity modules.
