Anokiwave has joint, the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) to help advance emerging 5G networks. ATIS is a forum where information and communications technology (ICT) companies convene to find solutions to their most pressing shared challenges. Through involvement in ATIS committees and forums, its members benefit from a comprehensive approach that takes into account technical, market and regulatory impact to help them achieve their business objectives.
ATIS also gives its 150 members a strategic view of the future of technology in the industry through access to the insights of the CTOs of the leading ICT companies. This year, ATIS is focused on fast-tracking its work to develop detailed 5G specifications. They are defining the industry requirements that will direct 5G's eventual technical capabilities and provide the basis for subsequent 5G standardization.
Anokiwave has been working on 5G for some time now. They have released the world’s first Ka-band silicon quad core IC for 5G active antenna systems, which is widely adopted by the 5G industry. Their patent-pending IP blocks implemented in silicon technology enable low-cost hybrid beam forming for multi-antenna arrays with high-energy efficiency and system sensitivity. They plan to leverage the thought leadership gained from their role at ATIS and continue to develop innovative ICs for the 5G market.
