Panasonic Launches Ultra-High Density Wi-Fi Solution for Sports and Entertainment Arenas

Panasonic Enterprise Solutions has introduced a new Wi-Fi solution intended to transform the connected fan experience in large sports and entertainment venues. The Everest Network Solutions are engineered from the ground up to overcome the challenges of connecting tens of thousands of devices in ultra-high density environments.

The Everest system requires only one third the wireless hardware of traditional legacy systems. The access points mount on structures rather than under seats, making it much quicker and cost-effective to install. The Basecamp user control interface provides an easy, intuitive system setup, with simple management and analytics. The system can serve as many as 500 simultaneous client engagements from one access point. Everest has been extensively tested in sold-out arenas, stadiums and major convention centers across the country.

The Everest access points feature four 802.11 ac Wave 2 compliant radios, doubling the wireless resources compared to conventional enterprise-class offerings. It pairs these radio resources with patented, highly directional, software-controlled antenna systems, creating ideal conditions for effective MIMO and MU-MIMO communications. Components are housed in an integral IP67-rated enclosure.

Leading independent telecommunications industry expert Miercom, performed rigorous comparative tests, comparing Everest's performance one-to-one with access points from several well-known industry players. They found the Everest Solution to be far superior. To learn more about Everest Network Solutions, click here.
