MetroPCS will Now have GCT Semiconductor’ LTE Single-Chip Powers Coolpad Quattro 4G Smartphone

 

GCT® Semiconductor’s 4G LTE single-chip, GDM7240, powers Coolpad’s new smartphone, the Coolpad Quattro™ 4G Android™ smartphone, now available at the U.S.’ leading no-annual-contract wireless service provider MetroPCS.

The new Coolpad Quattro 4G phone utilizes MetroPCS’s 4G LTE network, and includes features such as a 1GHz dedicated Cortex A8 CPU, 4” WVGA display, music player, and audio enhancements such as DTS Envelo. This new phone allows for fast Internet browsing and streaming media at blazing-fast 4G LTE speeds.
