The LoRa Alliance has started a dedicated incentive promotion program for LoRaWAN device, sensor and module manufacturers. The alliance will sponsor LoRaWAN Certification and RF performance evaluation for a certain period of time.
According to the Alliance, for any technology to scale within an open ecosystem with multiple vendors it is critical to give confidence of interoperability. Being certified gives manufacturers the right to use the official LoRaWAN Certified logo and helps to market their products accordingly.
7layers, an active LoRa Alliance member is authorized for device, sensor and module certifications and performance evaluations. The company will help all kind of IoT stakeholder prepare and finalize their products and services for successful operation, including the LoRa Alliance certification program.
