Keysight Technologies has been officially approved by China's IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group (referred to 5G Promotion Group) as a formal member.
Based on Keysight's leadership, commitment and contribution to the development of innovative 5G test and measurement technology, supported by utilizing the company's global capabilities and resources; R&D investments in local enterprise, projects and talents; and outstanding performance in China 5G technical trials, Keysight was recognized by the 5G Promotion Group and the industry's the first and so far the only international test and measurement company that is a formal member of the 5G Promotion Group.
In February 2013, the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group was created by the joint support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the National Development and Reform Commission of China, and the Ministry of Science and Technology of China. The Group promotes 5G technology innovations, which is now attracting worldwide 5G enterprises. China's 5G technical trials, are conducted by the 5G Promotion Group, in which they have made considerable progress.
Keysight provides customers with 5G T&M solutions from design to test, addressing the entire product life cycle, that includes, design & simulation, channels, RF & protocol, OTA, mmW, core network and more. In the 3GPP standardization organization, Keysight's technical experts are helping develop the 5G standard. They are the only international test and measurement company, that is currently supporting and participating in the 3rd step/stage of China's 5G technical trials.
