The AWMF-0197 from Anokiwave is a highly integrated silicon quad-core beamforming IC that operates from 17.7 to 20.2 GHz. It supports four dual polarization radiating elements with full polarization flexibility (RHCP, LHCP, linear). The receiver beamforming IC has 6-bit phase control and 5-bit gain control with the ability to provide gain compensation over temperature. This 2nd generation K-Band SATCOM beamformer enables active antenna SATCOM ground terminals that can auto-align and auto-position supporting SATCOM-on-the-move using LEO/MEO/GEO satellites.
The AWMF-0197 is available in a WLCSP chip package for easy installation in planar-phased array antennas. It features ESD protection on all pins and requires a supply voltage of +1.2V to operate.
