The AWS-0104 from Anokiwave is an X-Band Beamformer IC that operates from 8.5 to 10.55 GHz. It supports 4 radiating elements, single beam transmit and receive, and includes all requisite beam steering controls for the 6-bit phase and gain control for beam steering and shaping. This beamforming IC can be combined with a T/R switch to form a plug-and-play antenna solution that reduces SWaP-C for low-power AESA RADARs. It also features direct SPI programming of gain and phase and the ability to daisy chain SPI control between multiple ICs. This beamforming IC operates from a single positive power supply and is ideal for commercial & weather radars and 5G phased array applications.
