The THPR1006 from Triad RF Systems is a Range Enhanced Amplified Radio System that operates from 2407 to 2477 MHz. It integrates the necessary RF amplification, control circuitry, and interfaces to achieve higher RF output power, greater throughput, and longer link distances than standalone radios. This 2-channel amplified radio includes a Microhard Picoradio 2.45 GHz pMDDL2450 radio at its core and can also operate as a 2x2 MIMO amplifier (with inbuilt TTRM2005D). It requires a DC supply from +12 to +30 V and consumes 2.7 A of current in low data rate mode and 0.6 A of current in idle mode.
The THPR1006 contains BDAs, and RF filtering, with link diagnostics. It is available in an IP66-rated housing that measures 104.1 x 93.9 x 50.8 mm and has SMA-female connectors. The radio is ideal for use in long-distance high data rate ISR links, UAS, UGV, and USV video/data links, and point-to-point and mesh networking applications.
