The R&S®DDF550 from Rohde & Schwarz is a Direction Finding System that supports signals up to 6 GHz. It offers a real-time bandwidth of 80 MHz and has excellent DF scan speed as well as high DF accuracy, sensitivity and immunity to reflections. The direction finder has active/passive switchable antennas that allows users to select higher sensitivity (active) or higher immunity to strong signals (passive). It has a powerful receive path with solutions for weak signal and dense signal scenarios. This DF solution is available in AC power and DC powered options (making it ideal for mobile applications).
For fast, automatic location of frequency agile signals, multiple R&S®DDF550 direction finders can be combined and operated in synchronized DF scan mode in conjunction with an optional, automatic pre-classifier. ITU-compliant measurement methods can optionally be added to the R&S®DDF550.
