The Goshawk u8 from Kymeta is a Field-Proven, Multi-Orbit SATCOM Terminal that operates from 13.75 to 14.5 GHz (Tx) and 10.7 to 12.75 GHz (Rx). This terminal delivers resilient and flexible connectivity across GEO, LEO, and cellular networks in a single solution. It ensures a reliable and uninterrupted connection for vehicles and vessels on the move to meet various goals on land, sea, or in fixed locations. This terminal enables customers to use existing GEO modems and seamlessly integrate with configurable connectivity plans (GEO or LEO), without requiring upgrades or additional investment. It offers jamming mitigation for GNSS-denied environments to support mission-critical operations.

This software-defined linear/circular-polarized terminal has a G/T ratio of 11 dB/K and an EIRP of 41.3 dBW (LEO) and 46.5 dBW (GEO). It has an azimuth beamwidth of 360° and an elevation beamwidth from 15° to 90°. This RoHS-compliant terminal requires a DC supply from 12 to 36 V and consumes 125 W of power. It is available in an IP66-rated enclosure that measures 89.5 x 89.5 x 14 cm and has SMA and N-type connectors. This terminal is ideal for global defence and government agencies, public safety and first responders, NGO relief and aid groups, VVIP vessels and vessels, and fixed/portable cellular backhaul applications.
