The Osprey™ u8 from Kymeta is a Hybrid-GEO-LEO (HGL) Terminal that can be mounted on various military vehicles and vessels. It provides multi-orbit capability for mission-critical operations while on the move. This flat-panel terminal leverages the OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) network and combines the flexibility and reliability of GEO satellites with LTE for network redundancy in contested environments. It is designed and tested to MIL-STD and operates seamlessly with native power systems. The terminal has a modular design and enables network redundancy through field installation of mission-specific cartridges and external modems. It has a user-friendly and intuitive interface with an LED screen and essential functions.

The Osprey™ u8 delivers resilient, auto-PACE-ready communications for the armed forces to meet the demands of challenging and rugged military environments. It is easy to deploy and operate with auto-acquisition and tracking features and supports configuration for auto-switch between embedded and external modems. This low-profile terminal has a military color scheme with a sleek design with durable, military-grade connections and is developed to be less detectable by possible infrared threats. It uses a wide range of receivers and location solutions to ensure resilient and continuous operation.
