The RESA M Ka from Requtech is an Electronically Scanned Array Antenna Terminal that operates from 27.5 to 31.0 GHz (Tx) and 17.7 to 21.2 GHz (Rx). It delivers a linear EIRP of 48 dBW (boresight) and an antenna gain-to-noise temperature ratio (G/T) of 10 dB/K. This antenna terminal has a circular polarity (electronically switched) and a cross-polar discrimination (XPD) of 25 dB (Tx/Rx). It has a tracking error of less than 0.05 dB, a beam update rate of 100 Hz and a pointing accuracy of 0.1°.
The RESA M Ka is a ruggedized terminal with a MIL-STD design and field-replaceable fan bays for all-weather IP66 operations. It supports mesh networking of several devices to stay connected even with a semi-blocked field view and OpenAIMP to be delivered with any modem and BUC configurations. This antenna terminal requires a DC supply of 24 V and consumes 400 W of power. It can be controlled via RJ45 Ethernet Interfaces. This terminal is available in an enclosure that measures 81 x 45 x 11 cm and is ideal for Ka-Band LEO, MEO, or GEO constellations, supporting both on-the-move and on-the-pause applications. It is designed to perform across various platforms and can be deployed on a marine vessel, mounted on a vehicle, or carried as a manpack.
