The EXP-12000-02 from EM Research is a Switchable Fixed Frequency Synthesizer for frequencies from 11000 MHz to 12000 MHz. It delivers an output power of more than +13 dBm, has a phase noise of less than -100 dBc/Hz (at 10 kHz offset), and has a switching speed of 10 ms. This synthesizer is capable of alternating between various frequencies between 11 and 12 GHz, offering a fixed and switchable solution in a single package. It has excellent phase noise, vibration tolerance, and shock tolerance over the operating temperature range. The EXP-12000-02 has spurious emissions of -70 dBc and harmonics of less than -25 dBc. It requires a DC supply of +12 V and consumes less than 450 mA of current.
The EXP-12000-02 is available in a module (optionally hermetically-sealed) that measures 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.6 inches with SMA (female) connectors and is ideal for instrumentation, UAV, automated test equipment, test and measurement, ground-based mobile communication systems, local oscillators for frequency conversion, and airborne applications.
