The AWS-0106 from Anokiwave is a medium power front end ASIC that operates from 8 GHz to 11 GHz. It has been built for radar phased array applications. The FEM integrates a power amplifier, low noise amplifier, limiter, and T/R switch in to a single device.It provides a linear gain of 30 dB, an output power (Psat) of 3 W during transmit mode and a noise figure of 2.8 dB during receive mode. The AWMF-0106 provides dual Rx outputs to enable dual Rx beam phased array applications and features active biased power amplifier and active self-biased LNA. It is available in a 56 lead, PQFN package that measures 7 x 7 mm. The MMIC is realized in 0.25 um GaAs technology.
