The WLAN7207C from NXP Semiconductors is a Wi-Fi® 6E Front-End IC that operates from 5.150 to 7.125 GHz. It consists of a power amplifier with a directional coupler, a low noise receiver amplifier (LNA), and a single pole double throw (SPDT) switch. This FEM also has coexistence filters for both transmit and receive channels. It has 3 Tx operation modes per band, enabling flexibility for power efficiency adaptation, and 2 Rx operation modes enabling a gain step between LNA mode and Bypass mode. The IC is matched to 50 ohms and integrates harmonic and out-of-band filtering which minimizes the layout area in the application. It is available in an HWFLGA16 package that measures 2 x 2 mm and is suitable for use in smartphones, tablets, netbooks, other portable computing devices, and module applications for embedded systems.
