The QPF7207 from Qorvo is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) Front End Module that operates at 2.4 GHz. It delivers an output Tx power of up to +26 dBm with a gain of 29 dB (Tx) & 15.5 dB (Rx) and has a noise figure of 2.1 dB. This module has a rejection of 60 dB for U-NII bands 1-3 on the Rx path and uses edgeBoost filter technology along with the advantages of active components. It has an integrated 2.4 GHz power amplifier (PA), DC & RF logarithmic power detectors, FCC edgeBoost BAW filter, transmit-receive switch (SP2T) and bypassable low noise amplifier (LNA).
The QPF7207 requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 17 mA of current. This module can conserve power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading edge throughput across Wi-Fi channels 1 through 11 without the need to reduce transmit power to meet the FCC regulatory limits. Its receive path matches the optimal technologies to maximize Rx sensitivity through consistent noise figure performance. This module is available in a laminate package that measures 5.0 x 3.0 mm and is ideal for access points, wireless routers, set-top boxes, customer premise equipment and Internet of Things applications.
