The QXM109X from Qualcomm are Wi-Fi RF Front-End (RFFE) Modules that operate in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands. They support Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 over a bandwidth of 320 MHz using 4K-QAM modulation. These modules have integrated active and passive components that cover a wide breadth of IEEE 802.11b/g/ac/ax/be applications. They include power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, switches, and directional couplers.
These RFFEs are paired with the latest Qualcomm FastConnect 7900 Wi-Fi solutions, delivering a comprehensive modem-to-antenna system for flexible, cost-effective, high-performance Wi-Fi connected experiences. They also enable OEMs to quickly develop and launch powerful Wi-Fi solutions at scale with 5G NR and Bluetooth concurrency while attaching to the broad applications of Snapdragon Mobile, computing, and AR/VR platforms.
The QXM109X RFFEs have built-in 50-ohm ports, which eliminate the need for external RF matching components. They are equipped with ESD protection on all the pins for high reliability. These RoHS-compliant modules are available in low-profile laminate packages with moisture sensitivity level 3 (MSL3).
